World Day Against Child Labour – 12 June

posted in: About us | 0

Today is a day to fix on the calendar. 215 million of children work, many full-time.

215 millions, like the population of UK, France and Germany combined !

Its hard to believe, isn’t it?

Today is a day to focus on the shocking dates and work to reverse the situation. The UN report about it is very clear. We should reflect on how the real world is out of our day to day life.

“Today, throughout the world, around 215 million children work, many full-time. They do not go to school and have little or no time to play.

Many do not receive proper nutrition or care. They are denied the chance to be children. More than half of them are exposed to the worst forms of child labour such as work in hazardous environments, slavery, or other forms of forced labour, illicit activities including drug trafficking and prostitution, as well as involvement in armed conflict.”

Let´s work together in reverse this situation.
