This week we visited the local office of CatSya, a Catalan association that runs several projects in Bobo-Dioulasso (Sya is the old name of the city).
One of their projects is about literacy for women. Still too many women can´t read and write here in Burkina. Thanks to this project they will learn both Dioula (the local language) and French!
In the picture above a girl shows us the Dioula alphabet, pretty different from the Latin one.
Thanks a lot to CatSya who helped us organize our stay in Burkina Faso!
