Today September 8th 2017, International Literacy Day will be celebrated all around the world.
At Video Games Without Borders, we are proud of being an active part of the solution having contributed to the development of Antura and the Letters, a game that is currently used by thousands of Syrian children to learn reading and writing in Arabic.
“In order to close the literacy skills gap and reduce inequalities, this year’s International Literacy Day will highlight the challenges and opportunities in promoting literacy in the digital world, a world where, despite progress, at least 750 million adults and 264 million out-of-school children still lack basic literacy skills.” says UNESCO.
Digital solutions are key to reach Education 2030 goals and we have it engraved in our DNA.
